About Dave Clark

Dave was born in 1945 and patiently raised by his pioneer great aunt and uncle on a small farm in Alberta, Canada. Here, he developed a grass roots practicality and common sense approach to life. From an early age he displayed a penchant for communication (an incessant chatter box) and eventually put it to good work in student politics.

After completing school at Alberta College in Edmonton, he went into life insurance sales, where he learned the art of understanding the needs of others. A few years later he opened his own business in advertising and design, and for the past 32 years has been assisting companies with branding, marketing and publishing projects.

Outside of work, Dave recently served as Officer Commanding of the 78th Fraser Highlanders – York Garrison and currently serves as Grand Commander of The Order of St. George.

Dave lives in Toronto with his wife Madeleine, who has put up with his nonsense for 40 years. They have two grown daughters, Lisa in Vancouver, Canada and Kristi in Sydney, Australia. Dave enjoys jogging slowly, golfing poorly and attempting some upside down yoga poses.
